Muqaddimah is Arabic for Introduction. It is also the title of a book written by the Muslim historian Ibn Khaldun in the 14th century. Drawing on a multitude of disciplines, the book is the earliest attempt to discover a pattern in changes that occur in man’s political and social organisations.
This is my own personal Muqaddimah. Posting articles, images, and short stories, by myself or others, I hope to provide an introduction to the monumental changes occuring in the Arab World at the moment.
